Clay Art

For the second year in a row, the Visual Arts Department at Roane County High School received the Student Ticket Subsidy (STS) grant from the Tennessee Arts Commission. This grant provides support for Tennessee public schools carrying out arts field trips and in-school artist residencies.

With this grant, the Visual Arts Department was once again able to bring an artist-in-residence, Annamaria Gundlach, to RCHS for a series of lessons on clay hand building and figurative sculpture.

See some of their results, as well as the process, attached here! Thank you to everyone involved.
